Commencing a marathon #DavesCarIDService today (mute this thread if it's annoying) with a ginchy 1929 Hudson Super Six 2 door sedan
1936 Plymouth 2 door sedan, and looks like a time machine Adam Carolla super happy about its bent fender & flat tire
and a 1-year later 1937 Plymouth 4 door sedan
This is tough, but I'll say both are circa 1906 REOs, and the "American Circulation 2(?),000,000" sign suggests photo is in New York City
1941 Chrysler Imperial, and your fashionable dad & lady friend were stylin' and profilin'
a very sensible 1963 or 64 Plymouth Savoy, allowing more money for Granddad's beer & chill
1950 DeSoto, travel trailer is a circa 1951 Schult
1930 or 31 Ford Model AA heavy duty flatbead
actually a little tough ID here, 1927 Dodge pickup but wheels are late Ford Model A and it's been modified quite a bit
Hardly a softball. 1949 or 50 Chevy Fleetline, upper grille trim from a 1948 or 49 Olds 98, 1954 DeSoto grille teeth, 1955 Cadillac headlights and side mouldings
not 100% certain but I'll say circa 1917 Packard truck; note solid rubber wheels with no air in tires. Packard made trucks for Uncle Sam in WW1
1930 Chevy roadster, and these 2 drugstore cowboys look like they are off to wolf whistle at some skirts down at the Rexall
pic is a bit fuzzy, but big diameter headlights and 3-bar bumpers say 1929 Buick
Nope, not the same car. First pic is a 1940 Chevy; second is a 1936 GM Fisher Body 2 door sedan (Chevy, Pontiac, Buick or Olds)
luckily the photo reveals the slant louvers, fenders, and wheels of a circa 1919 Oldsmobile touring. A big car, but still hard to fit that many people in it.
A brief public service announcement: if you want me to ID a car, tag it with #DavesCarIDService. I have a big backlog of requests and this is how I keep track of them, otherwise it'll get lost in my timeline.
1939 Ford Standard sedan; behind it is a 1940 Studebaker Commander
1937 Ford Deluxe Phaeton. schwiiiiiing
1928 or 29 Ford Model A sport coupe, but wheels are later 16" Ford steelies; front hubcap looks 1939-40 Ford. It was very common to modify Model As with hydraulic brakes and wheels from 1939-48 Fords
First 2 pics are remnants of a circa 1926 Chevy; the last pic is a window garnish moulding for rear quarter window from a circa 1937 GM coupe
1941 Chevy Master Deluxe or Special Deluxe coupe
Left cop car is 66 Plymouth Fury, right is 65 Plymouth Fury.
These Parisian sophisticates are in front of a 1942-48 Ford F-1 pickup truck
1955 Ford, probably with a Russian diesel tractor motor
This thread is getting a little long, so I'm calling intermission. Back with another car ID thread soon.
