I think she believes she can counter it simply by repeating that she's a progressive. Like she claimed she could by making a few vaguely progressive points during her talk at the Ramsay Centre.

@mccormick_ted @CathrynTownsend @mariachong @rmathematicus I also agree with Ted that at this point it doesn't matter much. The evidence of her affiliations is mounting. It is not what she claims it is. Her own words to the counter of it aren't enough to address, e.g., her letting Sovereign Nations organize a personal conference for her.
@mccormick_ted @CathrynTownsend @mariachong @rmathematicus To be progressive, to have values of equality between people needing to be established & safeguarded, is not just a matter of making a few tweets declaring "but I'm against sexism, racism, economic inequality, imperialism!" It takes political organizing. She's not supporting it.

No. If you want a uni, a real uni, you have to fight for it. It's a political fight. It'll cost you something. Sides will be taken.
