It is, but we should also not forget the 1600 innocent Iranians the same regime killed just a month ago, the countless Iraqis their militias have murdered recently, the Syrians they continue to help murder regularly, the American contractor killed on Dec 27th etc. etc.
176 innocent lives lost is tragic, but Iran, mainly through the operations of Soleimani, is responsible for taking tens of thousands of lives just in the last year. Those lives matter, too.

That’s why this AP lie made me so angry. They don’t care about innnocents. If they did, they would be placing the blame squarely on those consistently terrorizing innocents instead of the country protecting them and taking out one of the main culprits.
