If your location has shade issues and you don't already have a shade measurement, then you should get one. That'll tell you how to modify the PV Watts result.
@energysmartohio Once you have the expected generation, then figure out the value of the power (depends on your area's net-metering policy). Then -> install cost / annual value of power = simple payback period. At $1.25-$1.50/watt, it'll be excellent.
@energysmartohio Example: My panels generate 3.16 kWh/day per kW of capacity (lots of shade/snow in winter).
I get full net metering credit, so my power is worth $0.12/kWh. Each kW of capacity produces $138/yr worth of power. For you, that kW costs $1,250 - $1,500. So the payback is 9-11 yrs.
