Factually, and frustratingly.... I'm getting a little angry about the continued cover-up nonsense coming from our U.S. Department of Justice.

I'll tell you what I think is going on here... Ms. Edwards leaks were financial records of: Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, Richard Gates, Maria Butina, and Prevezon Alexander.
The same files sent to the SSCI.
The same files sent to the SSCI.
The SDNY prosecution is handled by James Comey's daughter, Maurene Comey.
I'll bet you a donut the SSCI also leaked the same information to some of the same reporters.
Just like the Wolfe case the DOJ is protecting the SSCI.

Additionally, John C. Fry, 54, was an intelligence analyst with the IRS’s law enforcement arm in San Francisco. He was busted doing the same thing as Ms. Edwards.... to the same people....

The DOJ believes they can't go hard with sentencing after Mr. Fry and Ms. Edwards (examples) because the SSCI was part of the same leaking network.
