NEW (1/11): U.S. Virgin Islands files a civil lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein's $577 million estate. The 48 page complaint lays out how Epstein operated a complex web of fake VI corporations with the sole purpose of shielding his assets & hiding his sex trafficking operation.
(2/11) Some details/allegations from lawsuit:
* Through 2018 - Epstein trafficked and abused dozens of girls, ages 12 and 18 years old in the Virgin Islands.
* Young women, and children, would be placed in "sexual servitude and forced labor" on his private Little St. James Island
(3/11) A 15 year old victim was forced into sexual acts with Epstein and others and then attempted to escape by swimming off the Little St. James island...Epstein organized search party that located her and kept her captive by, among other things, confiscating her passport.
(4/11) Another victim who attempted to escape from the "private island" - was found by a search party and it was suggested physical restraint or harm would be used if she failed to cooperate.
(5/11) Epstein was a registered sex offender in the Virgin Islands since 2010 and as a result authorities would make periodic in person appearances to verify and update his registration information. But in an example of the kind of wealth/power/control Epstein had lawsuit says:
(6/11) At his last verification in July 2018 - Epstein refused to permit Virgin Islands DOJ Investigators, assisted by U.S. Marshals to enter his private island beyond its dock, claiming the dock was his "front door."Instead Epstein arranged to be met at his office in St. Thomas
(7/11) Suit says Epstein bought Little St. James Island in 2011 through his Nautilus LLC, one of six shell entities used to conceal his assets and sex trafficking. Little St. James is secluded, private, 2 miles from St. Thomas only accessible by private boat or helicopter.
(8/11) Epstein then purchased nearby Great St. James Island in 2016 through one of his shell entities - Great St. Jim, LLC for more than 20 million. Lawsuit claims purchase ensured no one could set up a base to spy or peak into his home in nearby Little St. James Island.
(9/11) Through this lawsuit, the U.S. Virgin Islands, makes clear its intent to not only seek civil forfeiture of Epstein's property (islands, planes, helicopters) but also its intent to seek punitive damages, through a jury, for anyone trafficked or molested by Epstein in VI.
(10/11) The suit against Epstein's estate - also calls out Epstein's attorneys who are in charge of executing his $577 million trust and estate. Darren Indyke and Richard D. Kahn were listed as officers in two of Epstein's shell LLCs.
(11/11) Suit claims efforts by Jeffrey Epstein's estate to begin an independent victim compensation fund is nothing more but an act "to conceal the criminal activities" and "shield its participants from liability" because it requires accusers to enter confidentially requirements
Also, lawsuit claims Epstein had a computerized database listing underage girls who were in or proximate to the US Virgin Islands and able to be transported to his private island of Little St. James, dubbed pedophile island.
