There's a controversy in Louisville about a Christian school (that I happen to be very familiar with) expelling a girl for a "rainbow birthday cake."

It's a non-controversy making national headlines because our media is intentionally biased or unintentionally ignorant.
Throughout the whole reporting, no one to my knowledge seems to have an iota of concern for Christian ethics, private association, or religious liberty. Basically the Constitution. All that matters, it seems, is giving an unsympathetic portrayal of Christians.
Do you want to know why the media is not trusted and why #FakeNews is sometimes a legitimate concept? Because of this statement in the article, which acknowledges the reporter's limited information, but then proceeds to make inferences that paint the school in a bad light:
"The school later said in a statement that the decision was a result of two years of conduct violations, but failed to elaborate."

Perhaps the school is bound to confidentiality that vindicates its decision, but it cannot or will not share.

The school has more discretion than our national media. This is bad reporting by the @washingtonpost and @TheArtist_MBS. It crafts a narrative of making a school look vindictive and selectively petty in what it decides to discipline and expel for.
