.@TrumpScotland makes a big deal of its wedding offerings, describing itself as the “ultimate venue.” But the stats show it’s hosting just 2 weddings a year, and the number of civil ceremonies has more than halved from ‘14 - ‘16 to ‘17 - ‘19, when Trump entered the White House.
One wedding planner said the venue was “niche,” in part due to space constraints. She also questioned its use of a semi-permanent marquee when you’re “paying Trump prices.”
Here’s the data, collated by local authorities where Trump’s businesses are based. Turnberry, a far more prestigious and historic resort, has held 57 weddings between Jan ‘16 & Oct ‘19. Frustratingly, no figs <’16 are available to assess the impact of Trump’s presidency on trade. 
Turnberry told me it also hosts ‘wedding celebrations’ - ie - couples who’re already hitched, but want to throw a bash. It says the total number of ceremonies since ‘15 (including legal weddings) is 110. I can’t independently verify that, annoyingly.
