@JeffBezos @skirchy Jeff Bezos's phone was “hacked” after receiving a WhatsApp message from MBS's personal account. The message is believed to have included a malicious file that infiltrated the phone. Large amounts of data were exfiltrated from Bezos’s phone within hours.

@JeffBezos @skirchy WaPo owner Jeff Bezos received an encrypted video from MBS loaded with spyware that enabled surveillance of his phone starting in May 2018. At the time, the Saudi govt had grown critical of WaPo’s coverage of the kingdom, particularly, Khashoggi's work.

@JeffBezos @skirchy Bezos' head of security, Mar 2019: We studied the close relationship between MBS and David Pecker, head of AMI, which owns the Enquirer. That alliance includes Pecker bringing MBS advisor Kacy Grine to a private White House meeting with Trump and Kushner.
@JeffBezos @skirchy AMI sent a contract that required Bezos head of security, de Becker, make a public statement denying “any electronic eavesdropping or hacking” and threatened to publish the embarrassing photos if Bezos or de Becker “ever in their lives” suggested otherwise.
