1. Claire McCaskill (@clairecmc) 100% right. It's obvious the reason to impeach was to take back Senate control. November election removes @POTUS @realDonaldTrump. By being seen as doing a USSR show-trial @SenateGOP will remove themselves. It's a set up and @senatemajldr bit.
2. In 2022, the remaining 2016 cycle GOP who, IMO, took Russian money, are up. Wonder what continued Trump investigations that @SenateGOP could end with a simple vote might dig up on them? Here they are, yellow were in Moscow for July 4th. All but Daines were 2016 cycle.

And just so you know, the conspiracy you folks joined after the Trump Tower meeting is not over. The statute of limitations for conspiracy hasn't even started to run. Stop today by removing Trump and your five-year clock starts.
6. For folks like @MSNBC @CNN @foxandFriends wondering why would the GOP Senate stand by Trump no matter how guilty he is? At least consider for a moment how they might act if I'm right about their own criminal exposure.

1. I was three years out of law school in 1993 when my late brother said he was working in a secret court and couldn't talk about it other than to say, I should read a law called FISA.
2. FISA provides that the SCOTUS Chief Justice appoints the FISA Court. It irked me that Democrats were not allowed to be FISA court #FISC judges. I'm pretty sure Nixon appointee Burger then Reagan CJ appointee Rehnquist never appointed any Democrat appointees to FISC.
3. GOP was considered a Kremlin antagonist. The innuendo was the Democratic Party lefties were a little too close to the Kremlin to be trusted with the highest top secrets. But, with few people noticing, CJ John Roberts has appointed Democrat to the FISC.

1. I said at the start of Trump administration that his failure to divest put every member of his civilian administration at risk of civil and criminal liability for acts that a clean administration would avoid. Here's the easy way to understand.
