When comparing positions of #EP / Commission & Croatian non-paper on #CoFoE one can identify a number of open questions & points of contention. Here thread with a non-exhaustive list of 14 main issues/questions that still need to be addressed/settled:
(1) How exactly to involve citizens in #CoFoE? Citizens' Agoras, Citizens' Dialogues, Citizens' Assemblies?; (2) How binding are results of citizens involvement for deliberations in Conference Plenary? (3) How to (actively) involve/include citizens in (final) plenary meetings?
(4) Are there basic common rules for citizens deliberations at national level? And is there a mechanism to monitor & improve national debates/deliberations? (5) How to foster national debates & how to structurally link them to transnational debates in #CoFoE?
(6) What is the (main) content & scope of #CoFoE? Which policy topics are actually discussed? Is there a long, open list of topics or rather a focus on a limited number of key strategic issues/challenges (#GreenDeal; digital transformation; Global #EU; democracy/governance)?
(7) How/when are issues related to next #EU elections discussed & decided, incl. lead candidate system/transnational lists/electoral reform? (8) Who leads #CoFoE – single chair or collegiate presidency (with primus inter pares)? (9) What role for presidents of EP, COM & #EUCO?
(10) What kind of governance structure & what role do different bodies play concretely (Steering Committee/"Executive Coordination Board"/Secretariat)?(11) Whether/how to involve representatives of #EU candidate countries in #CoFoE?
(12) How to take decisions in Citizens/Youth agoras? By consensus? How to treat minority positions? (13) How to take decisions in #CoFoE Plenary? Need for broad consensus on main recommendations? Or need for (simple) majority in each constituent part (EP/COM/Council/parliaments)?
(14) And last but certainly not least: What's the ultimate objective of #CoFoE? To enhance democracy & identify new ways of citizens' involvement? To reform the #EU's governance structures? To create political pressure to implement strategic policy priorities in coming years?

Although process still ongoing, here some (preliminary) thoughts/ideas reflecting lessons from current (s)election of #EU leadership. Thread acknowledges that there is no 'perfect process' & assumes that Lisbon Treaty won't be (fundamentally) reformed in foreseeable future:
(1) #Spitzenkandidaten process suffered damage but it is here to stay. #GenieIsOutOfTheBottle: political parties will stick to it. BUT: process needs to be (continuously) reformed in light of previous experience while adapting to specific circumstances at beginning of new cycle;
(2) Key innovation of #Spitzenkandidaten process: introduction of #TransnationalList incl. all lead candidates. Voters should have 2nd vote to choose 'favourite' candidate from #EU-wide list. Innovation should apply in 2024 -> #EP / COM-P / (European) Council should endorse it.

Hearing many exaggerations these days. So, here an attempt to put things into perspective: (1) yes, (s)election of new #EU leadership involves power politics in #EP & #EUCO & between them, but that's how politics & democracy function – at all levels incl. #EU – get used to it;
(2) yes, #Spitzenkandidaten process not perfect, but it is here to stay although it needs to be reformed before 2024 #EP elections (incl. introduction of #TransnationalList) – 2019 experience should provide lessons to everyone (including European & national political parties);
(3) yes, #EP increasingly runs risk of being sidelined in leadership (s)election process, but majority in Parliament can still agree on common candidate for COM-P, who has a chance to be nominated by #EUCO;

Four key reasons why far-right, illiberal 'anti-forces' (anti-#EU; anti-€; anti-migration) not likely to form sustainable coalition after #EUelections2019: (1) protagonists (like Salvini, Le Pen or Órban) quarrel over who should lead #AntiForces -> no one willing to subordinate;
(2) #AntiForces follow different strategies vis-à-vis ‘old establishment’ -> some ready to enter coalitions with mainstream parties (see e.g. FPÖ in A), others exclude any form of cooperation;
(3) far-right forces subscribe to different policy recipes in key areas such as migration, especially concerning solidarity dimension between member states, or regarding foreign policy (e.g. relationship with Russia);

THREAD: Got a bit obsessed w/ the helicopter crash in NYC last month bc helicopters don’t explode from “hard landings” & getting w/in 2 blocks of Trump Tower is a huge security lapse. A lot more to story not reported, incl links to Epstein & Trump. I'll drop what I found here 👇
1/ Context: reporting on the crash pretty much evaporated the next day. Only a few folks did any real-time digging, like @soychicka✌️- she found that the helicopter's owner, DANIELE BODINI, is listed in Jeffrey Epstein's black book.

That made me go 🤨
2/ It was also revealed that the pilot’s brother is GOP chair of Duchess County, which doubled my 🤨🤨 @DerWouter✌️ added these details 👇 re Trump/Duchess County links.

I see many 13-14 year old boys and girls brought to clinic with a bunch of reports of hormonal levels.

In a free market like india it is possible to walk into a lab and have as many tests as you can pay for without any prescription from dr.
Parents (sometimes their family doctors) get these tests done in a quest to find explanation for these adolescents "changed" behavior.
These behaviours are -
1. Staying up late and struggle to get up in the morning.
2. Irritable mood
3. Desire to stay away from immediate and extended family
4. More connect with friends
5. Food dada
6. Laziness like their body is suddenly filled with lead.(they become Helium with phonecall from a friend)
7. General shabbiness of room and hygiene
