Today in DC there’s going to be a so-called “March for Life,” which we, of course, know is a March for Forced Birth and for Control of Women’s Bodies by the government.

Thing is: We we’re just AT the #RealMarchForLife — twice in the past seven days!

This past Monday there was a March in @FallsChurchGov commemorating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his vision of protecting and uplifting the lives in communities of color. And also how we have much work to do to realize his dream. THIS was a #RealMarchForLife (2/x)

Last Saturday thousands marched in DC for the #WomensMarch2020 where we raised awareness to the gender inequity across the globe as well as in our own country &called out to our leaders to make changes to support and protect the lives of women. THIS was a #RealMarchForLife (3/x)

in September thousands marched for awareness to the crisis of Climate Change which jeopardizes the lives of people across the planet. &demanded action from our leaders to stop delaying and dismissing action that will mitigate this catastrophe. THIS was a #RealMarchForLife (4/x)

… and also in September we marched to save, protect and respect trans lives — people who have succumbed to physical, psychological and institutional violence due to attitudes and hatred stacked against them. THIS was a #RealMarchForLife (5/x)

… and back in March we had a literal “March for Our Lives” which attracted 200,000 — LED BY TEENS who are sick and tired of seeing lives of their peers snuffed out by gun violence. THIS was a #RealMarchForLife (6/x)

… so when you hear about a “March for life,” think about the instances of #RealMarchForLife — that aren’t about controlling women’s bodies or autonomy.
