Dear North,

We wake up daily & go back to bed with our problems multiplying. The political group, the religious scholars & the technocrats all appear not to be doing enough, if at all we are doing anything about these problems.
The president isn't only for us, even if we have someone who attempts to solve any of the problems we have. For instance, what is President @MBuhari doing to solve the problem of Almajiri, out of school kids & insecurity in the North in his capacity as a President from the North?
Apart from him, we ve state Govs, senators & house of reps members. What are they doing in their different capacities & as a group, the way the bold Southwest political class propose Amotekun to tackle their insecurity? We ve the biggest problems in the country, yet no action.

DO YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU SEVERE THE TIES OF KINSHIP YOU WILL NOT ENTER JANNAH? 😢

1/ Sometimes we get too busy to remember our relatives, especially if they are poor, non influential & live in villages far from us. Breaking that ties of kinship is a sin that can deny one Jannah.
2/ The scholars unanimously agree that severing the ties of Kinship is a MAJOR SIN, based on the warnings of Allaah (SubhanaHu Wa Ta'ala) & His Messenger, Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

Allah The Most High said:
3/ “Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship?

Such are they whom Allaah Has cursed, so that He has made them deaf and blinded their sight”

[Suratu Muhammad 47:22].

66/ After rising from the second Sujud, there is a Sunnah called "Jilsatul istiraah" (Sitting of rest). It is done after one has risen from the second Sujud, & before he/she stands up to the next Raka'ah. It is a brief relaxation, one sits with the palms resting on the thigh.
67/ It is a short sitting until all the limbs have relaxed, then you stand up. Some scholars say the Prophet (SAW) did this at old age, & it is more appropriate for those who need it (sick, old or one is tired). Some scholars insist it is a Sunnah & should be done regardless.
68/ However, anyone you choose to do does not affect your Salaat. But certainly, one who does it has an additional reward over one who doesn't (opinion of Imam Shafa'i). Whether you sit after rising from the 2nd Sujud or not, the next thing is, you proceed to the next Raka'ah.
