There has also been an upsurge in left libertarianism. Which, coincidentally, mirrors the end outcome of Paleolibertarianism. The removal of government and support for anarchy. 
Appealing to the logic that supporters of democratic society don’t advocate for benevolent dictatorship will not work. Dictators use authoritarian control, regardless of their benevolence. A dictator is a dictator. They don’t care.

Exposing Bernie’s hidden agenda will work for centrists. But it won’t for those already smitten by the far left ideology. I agree Bernie is a threat as much as Trump to democracy.
