@RepAdamSchiff is trying to argue that "abuse of power" is not only included in "High Crimes and Misdemeanors," but that it is a HIGHER crime than "Treason." Or "Bribery."

The Constitution did not mention "abuse of power."

@BreitbartNews Democrats are also trying to claim due process does not apply in the House, which they liken to a "grand jury" (there is some basis for that). The Republicans point out, correctly, that a) impeachment is not ordinary crime; b) if it's like a grand jury, why are Democrats leaking?

Correcting @CNN: Trump was asked about Charlottesville in a press conference in August 2017 after riots broke out between left-wing and right-wing groups over a weekend of protests and counter-protests around the proposed removal of a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
Neo-Nazis and white supremacists joined the group protesting against the statue’s removal; “Antifa” radicals joined the group protesting against the statue and against the far-right extremists.
The resulting violence, including the murder of one left-wing protester by a neo-Nazi, was almost predictable, after local officials declined to provide adequate police protection.

So here goes, re the FISA report tomorrow:

1- The report will be daming, but it will not be a metaphorical ending of “The Godfather” movie.
2- The most damning aspect will be a systemic pattern of bias & abuse, not any one incident.

3- The most damning incident will be that Kevin Clinesmith fabricated evidence against Carter Page.
4- There will be at least one damning incident that has not leaked, & that no one saw coming.

5- The report will not be kind to James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr, or Lisa Page. Also many others at lower levels e.g. Clinesmith.

Can we talk about #POWER instead of "violence," please? #Violence is a broad label that gets thrown around in the #HongKongprotest context, and it's basically meaningless.
When people say they can't condone violence, what I hear them say is: "I condone powerful systems of #oppression and #institutionalviolence, and protesters taking a small bit of power back into their own hands makes me uncomfortable."
People who are uncomfortable with protesters fighting strong power with weak power need to examine their priorities.

2) she told me about an incident she had recently remembered after moving out of the house at 16 and having gotten a new phone # that nobody had.
3) shortly after getting this new number she started getting strange calls. A man with an evil intonation would call and harass her, call her terrible names. She had only recently remembered this happening, but at the time it was terrifying.
