Pharmacists are the most class conscious people, because whenever your doctor prescribes a brand name drug and you don't have insurance they're always like "Yeah fuck that, the generic is the exact same thing."
Literally every single time a doctor has tried to pull this shit on me (likely because pharma companies spend a lot of money doing all sorts of dubiously legal bribery), the pharmacist has had my back.

I once had a doctor explicitly tell me I should try to overrule the pharmacist if they try to give me the generic drug. They told me, to my face, that the brand name one would be more effective.
The pharmacist's response?
"He lied."
