@RonWyden 4/The very able Chief Security Officer of the DNC, Bob Lord, who was involved in the shutting down the IA/NV virtual caucuses over security concerns, also apparently raised concerns about the integrity of the reporting app.
@RonWyden 5/So, the DNC knew there were possible security and technical issues with the reporting app and made a decision to let it be deployed anyway. It shut down the virtual caucuses in the fall, why not this app?

For all of us are living in a new post 2016/Russia electoral environment, where cyber attacks, disinformation, etc, are now part of our politics.
This app was a test of the DNC's ability to navigate this new world, and it failed.

But to win in this new world and not be overtaken by it, we have to learn from our mistakes, and get smarter.
