@ThePlumLineGS 2/My initial thought is that Pelosi and Schumer should create a rump group of a small number of Senate/House members to fight this out over time. Committees can be used, but this is also a media and legal game too. Chairman have other things to do, so delegate.
@ThePlumLineGS 3/Would empower a group of former State AGs like Blumenthal, Harris, Whitehouse to join with perhaps Hakeem Jeffries and maybe two more House members. Design a strategy - hearings, public speeches/op-eds, organize outside groups/state AGs, file law suits - and run a campaign.
@ThePlumLineGS 4/Goal is to create broad awareness in the public of the gravity of what is happening here; organize a broad and diverse opposition; and combat effectively on modern media. This is a battle worth fighting, and we simply have to win.
