I spoke to students at @DavidsonCollege + climate advocates in Birmingham this week, and asked them both the same two questions. There were a lot of similarities - and a few differences, since not all the students were on board with the science--and that's great they came! (1/3)
@DavidsonCollege It's the 50th anniversary of Earth Day this year, so I asked, "what is an environmentalist?" My answer is: "a human who lives on planet earth, the source of all the air we breathe, all the resources we use, all the water we drink and food we eat, and the only home we have." 
@DavidsonCollege I also asked both students and climate advocates what most worried them about climate change. They said (I think you can tell which side is the students, and it breaks my heart):
