Jeremy Corbyn's Labor fail, which @JamesCarville brought up again on @MorningJoe today is the fear that stalks a lot of ppl who see Brexit, Boris & Corbyn as equally predictive of our fate. Sanders supporters should explain, without attacking, why he wouldn't be Corbyn 2.0.
It's clear that Sanders voters (and really supporters of all the campaigns) are feeling attacked and defensive at this stage of the campaign. But it is the fear of an electoral wipeout that is driving Dem-leaning voters. Every candidate needs to explain how they can actually win.
And Team Sanders is not exempt. They have to go beyond saying "we will have a revolution." I really appreciated the chance to talk with @fshakir on these questions yesterday on the show, but the campaign should keep in mind why people keep asking. People are terrified of losing.
