Some of you want to insist that this is just "Russian bots" or something. But listen to me. One of Bernie's senior campaign advisers keeps posting tweets aimed at getting Bernie fans to troll me. This is literally coming from Bernie and his campaign, directly, in plain sight.
There were two Bernie movements in 2016: the feel-good foot stompers who just liked progressivism, and the crazed loons who tried to destroy anyone who didn't worship Bernie. The kicker was that the feel-good Bernie fans never seemed to realize Bernie's crazed loons even existed.
But as Bernie fell behind by millions of votes in 2016 and he became a divisive conspiracy theorist, he lost most of his feel-good supporters. In 2020, all Bernie has left are the deranged loons. So he hired a bunch of them to run his 2020 campaign.
At one time or another I've said less than flattering things about every 2020 democratic candidate. Can you imagine if a Warren or Biden campaign adviser retaliated by urging their supporters to troll and stalk me online? It would be a huge controversy.
But Bernie always gets a free pass – mainly because the media has always been scared to death of retaliation from the obsessive loons who make up the largest chunk of Bernie's support base. Bernie's loons just up fake scandals about any pundit who doesn't kiss Bernie's backside.
Bernie isn't going to be the nominee. For every one liberal who worships him, there are two liberals who think he's a buffoon. That's not a path to the nomination. Bernie knows he can't win, which is why he hired goons to run his 2020 campaign instead of real political advisers.
The "Bernie or Bust" folks won't vote for the nominee no matter how much we kiss up to them. They proved that in 2016.
We have to find a way to reach the reasonable Bernie supporters, and cut them off from the lies that the loons are feeding them about the other candidates.

If Bernie were the nominee, I'd go door to door supporting his dumb ass over Trump. But Bernie won't be the nominee.

Or you can just sit back and let Bernie and his goons dishonestly destroy every viable democratic candidate, so by the time we get to the general election, our eventual nominee is damaged goods and Trump wins. It's really up to you. I can't stop the Bernie goons all by myself.
