Klobuchar literally bounced from 4% to 20% on the back of one buzzy debate performance, the idea that Warren or anyone else is out of contention because they underperformed in a single tiny primary is ridiculous
Biden's in real trouble not because he flopped in NH, but because, across a year-long primary, he has not produced a single moment that shows any potential to reverse his predicament. Warren is obviously a different story
The media likes to pretend every moment is make-or-break because then the dramatic swings seem more dramatic. But the presence of the swings shows that every moment isn't make-or-break
The lesson here is that "Let's just grind forward on our momentum and hope it turns out" is a really bad strategy. Campaigns need to be actively looking for creative ways to assert themselves, change the narrative.
