Creativity Tip:

Be well educated.

Have a diverse range of knowledge. This requires you to have a self educator's mindset.

☆Can't be taught.

☆Must be discovered.

Knowledge in multiple fields allows you to cross apply concepts.

Very powerful to never run out of material

Some people happily admit that they haven't read a book since college.

'I'm done with school bro! I don't need to learn.'

Mistake, my friend.

Learning never stops

Learning is a lifelong process.

Either you learn & create.

Or you become miserable & debate.

Arguing.

Being bitter & acting like a know it all.

All HIGHLY creative people have one thing in common.

'Which is?'

Curiosity.

They always want to know more.

They have a healthy level of dissatisfaction

Idiots are the opposite.

Saying 'I know' all the time.

Trying to change someones mind before understanding their point.

Scoffing at people who are prolific with ideas

The art of self education is a MINDSET.

That's how you hack your mind for growth.

By proudly admitting that you don't know shit.

'Not even a little bit??'

Not even a little bit.

You may know a ton, don't get me wrong.

But in relation to everything there is to know?

Light work.

A speck of sand in the beach.

An ant compared to the human population.

Earth to the universe.

Life Law:

Stupid people think they know everything.

Smart people think they have yet to know anything.

Once you submit power to not knowing, you unlock curiosity God level.

The potential to become a mega mind has just been released.

And this is when things get fun

Focusing is great, don't get me wrong.

A brilliant skill to develop.

But curiosity eats focus's breakfast, lunch & snacks.

When you admit, you know nothing, you unlock top tier curiosity.

And focus is a byproduct

It's much easier to learn when you have a genuine interest for the topic.

But take it up a notch & have genuine interest for multiple topics.

Every charismatic person you know, know about several topics.

They don't just talk about their favorite sports team all day

Tiers of Knowledge:

1. In depth knowledge.

2. Wide net knowledge.

3. In depth wide net knowledge.

Aim for 3.

The wider net knowledge you have, the more your pattern recognition muscle builds.

You start seeing patterns from different fields presenting itself to you.

Feels like magic.

The common misconception is that creativity is only about idea creation.

That out of nowhere you have this light bulb moment.

'Are you telling me that's not the case?'

That can happen.

But creativity is more about ideas CONNECTION which leads to idea generation..

'Huh?'

Let me give you an example.

A few years ago, I was terrified of public speaking.

Everytime, I was about to go on stage, my heart would beat too fast & my voice would quiver.

This hurt my confidence

One day I was at the gym having an intense workout.

Heartbeat was rapid.

And I got a phone call.

I answered....

And my voice was normal.

Hmm....

Both cases, my heartbeat was rapid.

But how come for public speaking my voice quivered & for the gym case It was smooth?

It was because i ANTICIPATED a rapid heartbeat for the gym.

But not for public speaking.

That's when I had an insight

I decided to begin practice my speeches after doing tons of pushups.

I would intentionally speed up heartbeat.

And practice my speech thru it.

The next time I got called on stage?

I ANTICIPATED what was going to happen

Problem solved.

Voice enhanced.

This was a case of me connecting the gym world with the public speaking world.

Ideas connection led to idea generation.

That's how the game was meant to be played.

Its impossible to run out of material.

The more ideas you create, the more ideas you create.

That's why this Twitter will be running for another 10 lifetimes.

If you struggle with creativity,

1. Admit you don't know shit.
2. Adopt a lifelong learners mentality.
3. Be well educated from multiple fields.
4. Focus on connecting ideas.

This will turn you Into an overnight genius.

The light bulb, plane, car, TV etc.

All came into our existence because of creativity.

Never sleep on your imagination.

It has the power to change your reality.
