1. IPCC reports warn that highly dangerous climate tipping points 'can happen between 1.8F (1C) and 3.6F (2C)'.

2. We're already in the danger zone now at 2.4F (1.3C).

3. Risks posed by tipping points are NOT part of any economic analysis of climate policies.
4. United States, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, India, Canada, Australia and other countries plan to produce 120 percent more fossil fuels by 2030.

5. 'No amount of economic cost-benefit analysis is going to help us now that we face an existential threat to civilization'.
6. 'Governments depend heavily on the advice of economists, but with few exceptions the profession has done humanity a huge disservice by ignoring climate change in their research and scholarship..Only a fraction of articles and papers in economics journals discuss climate change

NYT reported this as cities erased by 2050, but you can see for yourself using the interactive map (previous tweet) how land is actually submerged between 2030 - 2040.

Sadly, the political rhetoric is now unhinged, exaggerated, irresponsible hysteria.
