Hay, I would just like to say that I’ve appreciated all of the fodder jokes this post inspired.
This would be a good time to announce that the American Hostorical Association has created a subcommittee on puns and I’m running for the position of Secretariat. My approach to this leadership position is probably best described as Trotskyite.
