Brutally attack Trump & Republicans on simple bread & butter issues, such as health care (he wants to kill Obamacare), his cruel budget cuts (he wants to gut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid), his tax cuts for the rich, increased deficit & debt, then pivot to your plan. 2/
A majority loathe Trump. They want a fighter who can punch him in the chin, win & provide a better path. Highlight Trump AND Republicans' naked corruption through his impeachment, his 11 pardons, his abuse of the DOJ, Bill Barr. Today’s Assange news. It’s all there. Use it. 3/
Talk about how Trump doesn’t believe in climate change, hasn’t supported gun control, mention the Republican bill to ban all abortions. Easy slam dunks. Also, rob him of the strong economy card by comparing/contrasting with Obama. (Hint, Obama did it better. He did it worse.) 4/
After you dress down Trump & expose his weaknesses, then promote your vision and plans. You can do this in every answer. It's easy. Attack, pivot to your vision. Highlight how the polls show every Dem is competitive right now against him. Trump only won by 77K votes. 5/
After this, you can proceed to kill each other over policy details that most will not remember or care about, which are all moderate and sane COMPARED to Trump’s extremism, corruption and reckless belligerence. 6/6
