So far, this is a very bad debate for Michael Bloomberg and we're only 45 minutes into it.

He doesn't realize that he's not a Republican anymore. He's running in a party that worships political correctness.

Loving all these historical comparisons from people who really have no idea what they're talking about.

The Democratic nominee will have to carry Florida if they hope to defeat Donald Trump.

Ohio and Iowa are Re-elect States. He looks more solid in Wisconsin everyday.
So, national polls — which I've said more times than I can count, DO NOT MATTER at this time — are also apples to oranges from decades ago. Demographically, they do not reflect the Electoral College like they used to years ago.

Florida resisted a strong Democratic mood and move in 2018. I know, Amendment 4. As of now, there's no evidence it'll have the impact some whipped up.

This is the point where "gurus" / media favs reflect on how they continue to allow their own biases and personal preferences taint their "analysis".

You have to admit it. Thus far, this is playing out exactly as anticipated. The Democratic Party is FAR LEFT this year, folks.

It was ripe for Bernie.
The key takeaway, and what I've been trying to stress for months, is that Joe Biden NEVER had a "minority" coalition. He had a tenuous Southern Black Democrat coalition living off of Obama Nostalgia, not true support for him.

Nevada just proved me right.

No POTUS justification.

1. Republicans should not take Bernie Sanders lightly. But I'm hearing some problematic comparisons between Trump 2016 and Bernie 2020.

The biggest among them:

Trump's policies — including immigration — are the American Middle.

Bernie's policies are not.
2. The other day, I was speaking to utility workers in my very blue city. They were lamenting Joe Biden's performance and the idea that Bernie Sanders might be the nominee. They do not like Donald Trump, at all. But they won't vote for Bernie unless he denounces socialism.

So...
3. They believe Florida will go for Donald Trump over Bernie Sanders by some ridiculous margin, embarrassing them because no one is going to trust Bernie on the economy.

Barack Obama didn't scare them. Donald Trump is an ass to them. But not scary.

Bernie Sanders scares them.
