If you can, please flood The Wire's public editor's email account to complain about their publishing a glowing eulogy for predator R. Pachauri, which does not utter a peep about the sexual harassment allegations against him.

If you need a template, here is what I wrote:

"To the editor(s),

I was appalled to read the eulogy published for R.K. Pachauri in The Wire on Feb 17th by Prem Shankar Jha that did not once reference Pachauri’s record of sexually harassment in his time at TERI.
Pachauri was found guilty by an internal probe that spoke to more than 50 employees, most of whom corroborated the victim’s account. In the interim, two more women came forward to accuse him of further misdemeanours, and the Delhi Police had a 1500-page chargesheet replete
with call and message records, and witness testimonies against him.

In a post-#MeToo era, when feminist activists and groups have repeatedly demanded that we as society stand behind survivors, and stop making excuses for the predatory behaviour of the “male genius”
The Wire’s whitewashed obituary is an egregious act of publishing and must be retracted.

A rightful accounting of Pachauri’s life should emphasize how his actions hindered women’s professional advancement in science and created a hostile and fearful environment at TERI
(where one male researcher is reported to have quit after facing pressure from seniors to help get the case settled out of court).

Prem Shankar Jha’s blatantly biased defense of RK Pachauri’s character (going as far back as 2015) does not seem up to the task.
I urge you to retract the article and issue a clarification immediately."
