OTOH, one wonders WHY Putin prefers Sanders. Possible reasons:
1. He's simply Trump's preferred opponent
2. Russia believes a Pres. Sanders (socialist, dove, domestic focus) would go easier on them than, eg, Biden)
3. They have "October Surprise" dirt
#3 frightens me most.

And, of course, only Sanders knows what skeletons he may have in his closet. He generally is secretive, but this might be a good time for him to become wildly transparent. If there's something there, let him get it out himself, explain it, control the narrative.
