Figuring out how to sell it was the problem of year 4, and I expect year 5-6 will be as well. Not because there's no money to be had; quite the opposite.

We have also been virtually alone in our core value proposition, unless you count big monitoring's attempts to buy their way into the conversation.

It's heretical of me to say this, but if I had to choose between honeycomb succeeding wildly but our mission changing and abandoning our core problem, or honeycomb losing to some other company who actually solves the core problem -- I would pick the latter. Every time.
Obviously I want (and intend) to win. 🙃. But we can't go back to driving systems blind. That's the one thing that matters even more.
