/6 Chronic pain patients (CPPs) have a difficult time making the ordinary citizens understand the consequences of the DEA actions. American public as a whole in our country are convinced that the law enforcement is always right, no matter what.
/6 That law enforcement (DEA) motives are always pure, faultless and in the best interest of the public. In fact, historical evidence reflect that they aren’t always right. In this case the DEA is wrong, for purposefully distorting and torturing data.
/6 Opioid hysteria has occurred due to the DEA’s manipulation of the news media convincing the public that illicit drugs are the same as prescription pharmaceuticals drugs. Although we have an illicit drug problem, however, not with prescription opiated medicines meant for CPPs.
/6 I’m not saying addicts don’t con physicians in prescribing opiates or some physicians aren’t involved in criminal activity. But to the extent the DEA says it is... is absurd. In as much as the DEA would like for us to think their actions are warranted and justified is silly.
/6 Actually the DEA, like a bull in a china shop declared war on the American healthcare system and pushed a narrative causing irreparable damage. CPPs the unintended victims in the millions have suffered, died, committed suicide and they continue to so.
/6 IMO, things aren’t always what they appear be in life. When thinking one way pushed by a false narrative, occasionally the truth surfaces and ulterior motives are exposed. We know why and how this immoral travesty occurred, we just don’t know how to stop the nightmare.
