I am not making a political statement.

However, given that 10% of Iranian lawmakers are infected, and given that politicians of both parties are still shaking hands and holding rallies, we need to seriously contemplate the possibility of continuity-of-government issues.
The risk for senior American politicians is very high because (a) many of them are in their 70s and (b) they are in daily physical contact with large numbers of strangers.

This page should be updated and we need to prepare for some of these scenarios.

Boris Johnson by his own account was at a hospital with coronavirus patients and shook hands with “everybody”.

The Pope did something similar in Italy and fell sick.

It is almost beyond belief but continued handshakes may lead to the fall of governments.
