2/ of fortune. Obviously there's still a very good chance Sanders ends the night with more delegates. So it's certainly not like Sanders campaign is over. But whoever wins, afterwards the winner has to craft a story that allows the losers to come on board.
3/ And for those saying the Sanders campaign has made few efforts to do the same, I think that's largely true. But life's not fair and that really doesn't change anything.

I’ve not decided who my second choice is if Bernie doesn’t win the nom b/c I feel that voting for Sanders is already a compromise for me. I’m not entirely sure I want to further compromise my values and beliefs. But I can guarantee that if Pete is the nominee, I will not vote.
I know there’s plenty of liberals who don’t care about principles and that’s fine. But I care about my principles and while I’ve been pragmatic in the past, it’s just getting to be exhausting and completely defeating too. I can’t do it.
It’s not a privileged take. It took me a long time to become an American citizen and it took thousands of dollars too, which most American born Democrats will never understand . I get to decide how I use my voting privilege, not others.

I think he said it from a place of political analysis, not from a place of endorsing a sexist reality.
