That sign is about the hijacking of jointly sponsored pension investments. One of the strident concerns of the assembled crowd.

They were concerned that democracy is being pissed on so badly that a Minister of the Crown can ignore 22,000 names on an electronic petition. #ABLeg

As for @MattWolfAB I would remind him that teachers' have a $76 million dollar investment in Enbridge and a $65 million investment in Suncor. As well as some private equity interests in this area as well. Exposure, but not over exposed to this area of the economy. #ABLeg #suckit

As well, I can't tell you how many teachers have partners and other close family members who work in oil and gas. Or, the number of teachers who are rural landowners saddled with orphan wells. #ABLeg #orphan

Travis says he has no money to give teachers a raise. But he does. ATRF cut contribution rates based on excellent investment performance. Travis has $20 million in his pocket that would be enough to give every teacher in AB a small raise next year. #ABLeg #suckit
