Travis did spend one sentence urging the public sector to "work together" with him to address the poor state of AB finances.

He even said it with a straight face.

You don't help the public sector want to "work together" when you make arbitrary decisions about joint pension plans. Especially when the GOA makes less than half the contributions.

The direction of this government: Living in the past. Now, I am a bit biased. I have already developed a low opinion of Travis' work product. So a budget speech that does not contemplate how to address climate change while developing resources.... #ABLeg #past #stupid

I ran into a rant from and oil and gas exec ("dudebro") the other day. He was ranting about his industry being attacked for the last 15 years.

I was like "dudebro 15 years ago I would have told you straight up that in the next 15 years environmental and concerns are going to play an huge role in your business." Adapt or get out. The changes that were coming were not a secret. #FAIL

In other ATRF news, one more vacancy exists on the ATRF Board. Travis has left it empty since Jan 1. Not sure why that is. Considering he wasted no time getting rid of the one person on the Board with an accounting designation.

I can hardly wait for the next appointment. Competency based? Maybe. Or another #petrosexual
