The economy added 7.3 million jobs over the 39 months from the Nov 2016 election to Feb 2020, about equal to what we added over the same months to Feb 2019.
It's fewer new jobs than we added over those months to Feb of 2018, 2017, 2016, or 2015.
POTUS changed his talking point. The inherited trend, not so much.
But growth is at 2.3% over the last year, 2.1% rate over the last quarter, and going down further.
If reality matched that pace, over 900,000 more Americans would now have jobs.
