There's something in that brain of urs that thousands (even millions) will pay as much as N5,000, N10,000, even N50,000 just to have u teach them what u know since it can solve their problems;

The way it works is
Step 1: Go to Pinterest, Reddit, FB, IG, Quora, Nairaland (don't ignr Twitter)

Focus on content/topics with great engagement

What are ppl raving or complaining about?

Difficulty getting Visa approval?
Child birth?
Better sex?
A profitable side hustle?
Self improvement?
Etc?
Step 2: Write a list of 10 hot topics that people are talking about non-stop on any of these platforms I've listed

Narrow it down to 5, then 3, then 1, by order of engagement and interest, the higher, the better;

Now you have a topic people are interested in;

Next step is....

How to get Rich clients from Social Media, (Even if you don't have thousands of followers)

Getting deep pocket clients is easy.

The hard part is how you sell yourself or at least, position yourself so they come to you, instead of having to go to them.

The first thing is....
Clients who will pay you anything between N100,000 - N1.5Million to handle a project for them are not easily moved by generic claims like....

"I will boost your conversion rate and multiply sales"

Sure, for them, that's the end goal...

But the truth of the matter is....
Before a client will even consider bringing you on board...

They want to make damn sure you know what you're doing

And the onus is on you to show them you're the real deal by either;

1. Constantly putting out valuable content that tackles serious marketing concerns or...

1/ Let's talk about getting paid for writing.

I've been making money off stringing words together since I was 21 and I'm happy to talk about my experiences in this area.

If you too would like to get paid for writing, this thread might be helpful.
2/ I'm primarily a creative fiction writer and an occasional columnist plus (if you follow me here on Twitter) you can see that I'm a rambling essayist. All of these things have made me money over the years.

The bulk of my passive revenue comes from self-published fiction.
3/ I don't see it as my PRIMARY career because it's more of a hobby or a lifelong passion that I would do whether I get paid or not, but my publishing/writing biz pays all my bills at this point and makes corporate work optional for me.

I want to dig a little deeper into the numbers that @OverDriveSteve shares in this post about how people use Macmillan ebooks at their library.
@OverDriveSteve Now, in justifying their campaign against libraries, @MacmillanUSA claims that 45% of their ebooks reads come from libraries and not private sales (remember though LIBRARIES PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THAT BOOK. They got a lot of $$$ for it.)
@OverDriveSteve @MacmillanUSA We have no idea how Macmillan gets that number, unless Amazon is sharing data (and lets face it, Amazon never shares its data)

As I've discussed earlier, best guess is that Macmillan thinks each book purchased gets checked out 52 times.
