That's not even *remotely* what he said.
He said he'd veto any bill which delays expanding coverage in the immediate future.
And there's no way in hell Bernie's *current* version would get through the House, much less the Senate anyway.
Aside from the fact that his response was cut off (see @HawaiiDelilah’s comment), any bill this complex would take 2-3 years before it could even begin to be implemented (BEFORE the 4-year transition period). The ACA was signed in 2010 but main provisions didn’t start until 2014.
Some of the 4-yr delay in the ACA was done for CBO scoring reasons but most of it was because of the technical and logistical changes needed...which were minor compared to what would be required under Bernie’s M4All bill.
