Let’s take Bernie Sanders as an example – A decade ago, he was not even a part of the Democratic Party. He always identified as a Socialist and spent almost his whole political life isolated and as an object of curiosity
Bernie would often be invited to talk shows and news programs – America was less interested in his ideas and treated him more like a creature in a zoo – ‘so this is how a socialist looks like’ was the general tone

This — from @chrislhayes & @SamSeder last night — is the key point now: the person with the power to impede Joe Biden’s nomination is Elizabeth Warren, by dropping out & endorsing Sanders before Tuesday, which you’d expect given Biden’s embodiment of what she claims to oppose:
Advocating that Warren — who **finished 3rd in her own state** — drop out to prevent the nomination of a militarist-corporatist with a declining brain: sexist.

But demanding Jill Stein not run & changing the rules to exclude the only remaining woman of color from the debate: 👍
I’m not expecting or hoping Warren will drop out & endorse Bernie.

I’m just saying that’s what she would do if she were even slightly sincere about what she’s claimed to believe for the last decade.

Biden is the embodiment of what she claims she entered politics to fight.
