Bernie's supporters are passionate for Bernie.

Unfortunately, because the Sanders campaign has attacked Biden on multiple fronts, Bernie's supporters are becoming increasingly *negative about Biden*.

The longer Bernie stays, the more long-term damage to Biden's candidacy.
Bernie's people have viciously attacked Biden's policies, mental state, and interactions with females.

When Bernie DOES decide to hang it up (and let's hope that's soon), he needs to somehow UNDO the negativity he has caused his supporters to have toward Joe Biden.
As a reminder, Bernie waited a VERY LONG TIME to concede to Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Trump has been in close contact with infected people, and he's still meeting regularly with Republican leadership and high-ranking cabinet officials!

A lot of these people are OLD MEN. Don't they see how risky meeting with Trump is to their OWN LIVES?

He's going through ever single talking point he does on the campaign trail.

He says he's winning the "generational debate."

He says he's winning the "vast majority of people" in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

#Bernie looking for some way to again claim that the white male system that has kept him in office for 40yrs is in fact rigged against him, not against women and POC.
If people love your message, you can't hold them back. Yet Sanders lost in a landslide of 4M votes in 2016.
Maybe the fact is what works for Vermont--America's whitest and 2nd least populous state with only 620k people--doesn't work for the country, which is 40 percent POC and eager for a fresh new vision for the nation. Maybe that is Bernie's real problem. Not the press.

Bringing younger voters and the disillusioned into the fold, getting them excited about politics, is crucial. We need a movement if we have any hope of confronting the far right menace.

One politician can't do it alone. It's about the people.
I'm trying to move past attachments to individual politicians so that I can focus on the issues. I've criticized Bernie on some things, and I still feel those critiques are valid. But I can say that for Hillary or any other politician. The key is to spark a progressive movement.

This awed tone of MSM coverage of #Sanders is so gendered.

Harris and Klobuchar are both daughters of single mothers who had to raise their kids alone after their husbands left the families.
Warren also grew up in a working class family in Oklahoma.

But the coverage of these women not only hasn't reflected this awe of their families' struggles, but has been harshly critical.

No one has situated Klobuchar's perfectionism within the well-documented construct of being the child of an alcoholic fighting chaos.

Harris and Klobuchar both had to work harder than their male counterparts to get on their college & career paths, due to their backgrounds.
