The US has 2,269 cases (almost 3X the 830 China had at lockdown). Despite emergency declaration, and 1.9M tests coming next week, we are still blind to the extent of the outbreak and an exponential increase in cases requires exponential increase in capacity.
Finally, mainland China has 8 cases. By comparison the world in flames. By paying attention during the China phase, all of the rest could have been avoided.
