Why it's so important to cancel classes to prevent spread of #covid19, in 3 network graphs. Students (red=wom, blue=men) connected by courses (boxes) offered in one @Cornell dept in one semester.

Here's Philosophy. Note that all courses are connected by at least one shared student, even though relatively few students take two Philosophy courses in the same semester. (Phil courses are also more gender-segregated than CS courses, but that's a different tale.) 2/3
Finally, @CornellSoc. Isolated courses w/ 1-4 students are most likely independent study courses, one for each prof. Large cluster in UL is Intro, with multiple potential "carriers" to other large courses. 3/3 #COVID19
