What is highly worrisome here is the #NYC seems to be moving into the ‘testing no longer matters as much’ camp. When the best science and studies are pointing toward the need for intensive testing. Oh well.
3/ I think one issue is that it is true once you’re to a certain ubiquity it becomes v hard to contract trace. But you need an intensity of testing to know directionally where you are and to find people who have infections but are asymptomatic.
4/ I know nothing about this stuff. But New York City has on various points over the last couple weeks stated confidently that it has better science that WHO and other global orgs. That’s becoming less credible.
