to someone causing them to die. That's a heavy weight for anyone to carry on their shoulders. So back to 2009. It was in September and I remember this because I was in the middle of some serious negotiations with our local teachers union ( I was a School Board member). I started
to feel ill, I said meh, its a little cold. There is no real info out there just little snippets here and there about some new virus nicknamed the swine flu or now known as H1N1. It wasn't too concerning according to the Obama Administration its fine. Within a day my head hurt,
I had a fever and a pretty high one, My head felt like lead and so did my body. Then the cough came. It was a cough like I have never experienced before and since. I coughed so hard I thought I was going to die because I couldn't breathe. Still it must be a bronchial issue
because there was no press briefings or media frettings about the Swine Flu. I was flat on back for 8 days with the fever, wracking cough, chills, body aches and overall feeling like hell. Calls to my Dr's office said don't come in as we don't want to infect other patients. I was
still convinced it was just a flu. A flu like nothing I had ever experienced. My doctor after I was finally able to go for my cough that seemed like it would never end tested me for H1N1 and it was positive. My daughter had a milder case than I had. Now I can compare the
response between these viruses. Obama did not declare a state of emergency until 1 month after I was ill. There were no mass closings, there was no relief for any time lost from my office. There were no free tests. There was no daily briefings. I was on my own. I am so sick of
this media, the politicization, the comparison between Trump and Obama and their responses. Obama did not care enough about H1N1 until October after 400+ deaths had occurred. I for one am truly thankful for what @realDonaldTrump has done to protect my parents. The difference
between H1N1 and Covid-19 is H1N1 targeted young and middle - aged as we had not antibodies. The Covid-19 targets the elder citizens. By stopping flights from the affected areas countless lives were saved. We have allowed the media to get into our heads that we are doomed and
that can't be further from the truth. I can tell you the difference is stark between The Obama Administration response and the Trump Administration. Being on the front lines at the local level the alerts from both the federal and state level are constant and up to date so be
skeptical if you hear otherwise. I see the alerts as they happen and I can tell you any statement otherwise is false and biased. As I sit here at work content at least now I have toilet paper, I wait. I wait for the doom the media said is coming. I will however not blame Trump
How can you blame the person who cared enough about this country and did his best to try to stop or delay Covid-19. So to all you celebrities who are tweeting at the behest of the @DNC it won't fly. This country will bounce back in spite of you.There is no room for your rhetoric
