The probable scenario is that the majority of the population will
contract SARS CoV 2/Corona

It is very important to slow down the virus through isolation to have enough time to find a treatment or vaccination.
There is a likely scenario in which we will contract the virus...
... once like chickenpox and then be immune. This means we would at some point reach a
state of herd immunity and only a few people ever contract the virus in future generations, therefore they are easier to treat. The other possible scenario is that the virus mutates....
...and it becomes seasonal like the flu.
Both require the same precautions: Isolation to slow down the virus.

However, it is very crucial to understand that the virus is less harmful to young and healthy people. Some are even asymptomatic (presenting no
symptoms)....
... This contributes to containment becoming difficult or even impossible when considering a lack of screening methods.

The situation whereby most of the population contracts the virus is inevitable- we cannot stop the virus anymore.

Our main concern now is....
... slowing it down so the health care system
doesn't get overstrained. This means that we need to make sure that the hospitalized cases of SARS CoV 2 infections are limited to only as few severe cases as possible. In this case, we would be able to keep the hospitals reserved...
..for critical cases and other emergencies (that will continue happening even with our hospitals crowded with patients while some staff
may be in quarantine).

So for us, the main goal is to isolate and also integrate the patients at risk, such as elderly people or patients m...
...with immune deficiency.

How?
By making their isolation as easy and comfortable as possible.

There are now infinite ideas on how to achieve that. It even gets
better: we have as many resourceful volunteers as ever before! Given
that universities
and schools are shut down...
...concerts have been canceled, and holidays postponed - the amount of potential the youth has to contribute is tremendous.

We should mobilize this power and empower a global movement of youthful volunteers to care for our elderly and at-risk populations...
to keep them socially connected and informed. Maybe even pastoral work. Many
people have something to contribute and we should remain open to their ideas. There is medical staff in isolation that could use their time to share their expertise to those...
...who are afraid and have questions.

Food delivery, prescription pick-ups, and errands will be very useful to
those in need.

Volunteers could even offer fitness courses electronically that isolated people can do from home.

I see this crisis also as an opportunity...
... for a new way to relate and care for our fellow citizens and encourage able persons to help.
