2/ While some of his words may say otherwise, his actions are not congruent with lessening the death, illness, economic impact, and social impact of the #Coronavirus.
3/ Why are his actions so delayed? Why is he not utilizing the Defense Production Act? Why is he not using all of the tools of the federal government to fight the #Coronavirus?
4/ He wants to create more panic and chaos because he's a Sadist (along with being a Sociopath/Psychopath, a Narcissist, and a Machiavellian, and a drug abuser). Sadists get true (sick) pleasure out of inflicting suffering and death — while watching other people suffer and die.
5/ He also wants the impact of the #Coronavirus to be over quickly (despite increased death and suffering) so that the nation can recover/partially recover prior to the election in November.
6/ If we flatten the curve — the Pandemic may very well still be ongoing, although with much less of an impact.
7/ Trump's behavior is analogous to the captain of a sinking ship guaranteeing himself a lifeboat while increasing the number of passengers who drown — or a member of the Donner party keeping a secret hoard of food while letting the others starve — and, he's enjoying it.
