This thread is going to be on some #doubts regarding the official document released by #tamilnadu govt on 26/03/20.

On #CoronavirusPandemic after the meeting held by CM

1. number of positive cases reported in India is 581 as per ICMR. But here it is mentioned as 571. Why?

2. On 4/2/20 as per the doc, there are no cases reported in India.

But India reported it's its first case on JAN 30.

Why it's shown as zero in the doc?

3. AS per doc on the stages of spread.
Stage 1-high spread, low mortality
2-rapid spread, low mortality
3-explosive spread, high mortality
4-spread bcoz of mutation

As per WHO
1-imported cases
2-contact transmission
3-community transmission
4-pandemic
Where TN STAND NOW?

4.doc says 2lakh passengers screened and 18k are home quarantined.

No data on
from what date these ppl are being screened and quarantined is available
Why?
Travelers from which countries were screened?

5. On quarantine data. The numbers are quite confusing.

Home quarantined-18k
Well
hospital quarantine-211

Govt supervision-1631, in this 104 are only in hospital. Why??
Army quarantined- 109
So totally 213

I guess this is what they mean by hospital quarantine.

6. What is the mode of infection for the patients
Number 2 and 12?

Thill now is it not established?
Is it because of community transmission?

7. Why the travel history map of any the patients has not been disclosed with the document?

Like the one released by the Kerala govt for each patient?

Which could enable to locate more risky ppl and Identity the infected ones earlier.
