Fellow doctors . Kindly keep Coronavirus Suspects in isolation for minimum of 14 days regardless of first test results. The False negative rate is 30-40% as I have repeatedly described on Twitter.The test might be helpful in tracing not so much in observation/treatment

As I speak many Hospitals in India are running the protocol of transferring COVID Suspects from isolation ward to normal ward after single negative. DONT.
Let's also fear the COVID negative ward(Daily N95 mask and gloves to health care workers even in COVID negative ward)

The ophthalmologist who broke out COVID-19 news had multiple false negatives before he died of infection.
Treat/Observe every COVID-19 Suspect as COVID till tests get better.

However the test is/can be very useful in areas of high prevalence.
In places like Nizamuddin ,Bhilwara and Kasargod where contact tracing is impossible.

Both patients and physicians in NON-COVID ward need to be very careful and with PPE till this thing blows over(vaccine etc)
