I want to thank a 7-year old girl from Solapur, named Aradhya. It is Aradhya's birthday. I wish her on behalf of the State.
This is the age where one wants to celebrate this occasion, but Aradhya has contributed to the CM Relief Fund. She has set an example before Maharashtra. This is the State's credo and identity.
Singapore's Prime Minister announced that the country will impose a lockdown from Tuesday. The same measures being taken in India and Maharashtra are being replicated elsewhere.

All parties have joined hands to fight this, which is heartening. The Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, Congress President Sonia Gandhi ji, NCP President @PawarSpeaks ji are in touch with me. So are religious leaders and maulvis.
Many institutions, icons, artists, players are pitching in. Many are giving their space for isolation, Shahrukh Khan has done so, Taj and Trident have opened their hotels for doctors, many have distributed food and given money.
Everyone is contributing, in small or big way, I thank all of them from the bottom of my heart.
Like Coronavirus there is another virus that is emerging which is threatening social harmony, the virus of fake news & communal hatred.
We will save Maharashtra from this crisis. But, if someone circulates fake news or videos like commodities or notes being smeared with saliva or with inflammatory content, my law will catch up with them. They will not be spared. Dont do this even for fun.
The other day, even Appasaheb Dharmadhikari called me. We have the support and blessings of these people. So, do not try to divide our combined efforts, our unity, which have transcended all political and other divisions.
Cases are increasing, but we are trying to be an exception in the world during this pandemic.

Like new cases being detected daily, people are also being cured. Unfortunately, there have been some deaths. Those with complications like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, are susceptible to mortality.
Take care of our senior citizens at home, maintain social distance from them, do not allow them to leave the house and wash hands before serving them.
During the Prime Minister's video-conference, some CMs expressed fears that what happened in Delhi may happen elsewhere. Permission for a similar event in Maharahtra was denied.
The names of those who attended the Delhi event are in our records and all the participants have been traced. They have been isolated and quarantined in Government facilities. People should come forward to inform us about anyone left out.
Till further notice, no permission will be given for cultural, religious and sporting events.
Maharashtra has around 5 lakh migrant labour whose meals, breakfast, medical facilities, have been provided for. Care is being taken of women and children.

I am requesting Chief Ministers from other States that the Maharashtra Government has done the needful for these workers. Similarly, take care of people from Maharashtra in your states.
The virus is focused on Mumbai. But, Mumbaikars are strong and will not budge. Unity is the credo of Maharashtra and Mumbai.
Dedicated facilities to deal with COVID have been created. If you have fever and cold and symptoms of pneumonia, go to these designated facilities and centres, and not normal healthcare centres.
Otherwise, if someone is unfortunately found to be affected by Corona, they may infect the doctors, and these establishments & facilities will have to be shut.
Take care when going to the markets. We have allowed them to remain open 24X7. There is no need for crowding. Maintain social distance to keep danger at bay. This is not like other nations, where these facilities are open for just a few hours.
I would request people to please work from home if you can. Dont leave the house.
A small virus like Corona is testing us. How can we take the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj if we surrender to it? Maharashtra is the land of the braves, warriors and the saints.
