On 3/16, the WH recommended #PhysicalDistancing. ~90% of the cumulative #COVID19 deaths in the US could’ve been prevented by acting 2 weeks earlier, when there were only 11 deaths. If imposed 1 week earlier on 3/9, ~60% of deaths could’ve been avoided.🤬

The #COVID19 projections are based on estimates of seasonality (worse in winter), ability to gain long-term immunity to this deadly #coronavirus (NOT likely based on other related viruses), and cross-immunity to related coronaviruses (could provide partial immunity!).
▶️Highly-effective distancing allows a strategy using #coronavirus TESTING, contact tracing and quarantine, as in #SouthKorea and #Singapore
▶️Less effective 1-time distancing may PROLONG the outbreak

There is NO evidence the new #coronavirus was engineered, "but that is not the same as saying it didn’t come from the lab."🤬
The diplomatic cables sounded an alarm about the "grave safety concerns" at the #Wuhan lab, especially its dangerous work with bat coronaviruses.

The cables also suggest the possibility that the #pandemic could be the result of a lab accident (or leak) in #Wuhan.
